* May 14 - 18, 2011: The International Trademark Association (INTA) will hold its 133rd Annual Meeting at San Francisco, California, USA. * 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF CAMEROON'S ARMED FORCES.
The 50th Anniversary of Cameroon's Armed Forces was celebrated in Bamenda, Headquarters of the North West Region, from December 08 - 09, 2010. The celebration under the theme: "Cameroon Army and the Nation, 50 Years of Exemplary Symbiosis for Peace, Territorial Integrity and Development" was personally presided over by H.E. Paul Biya, Cameroon's Head of State and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

* 2011 Youth Day Celebrations in Cameroon. The 2011 Youth Day in Cameroon was celebrated on February 11, 2011. In his address to the youth on this the eve of this occasion, the Head of State His Excellency Paul Biya announced that he had given firm instructions to the Prime Minister and Head of Government for the recruitment of 25.000 young graduates into the Public Service. This announcement was well received by youths through out the nationaly territory, many of whom remain unemployed even after graduating from University several years ago.

* 2011 INTERNATIONAL WOMENS'S DAY CELEBRATION. The women of Cameroon on Tuesday March 08, 2011, joined their counterparts the world over to celebrate the 2011 International Women's Day on the Theme: "Equal access to Education, Training, Science and Technology; Decent work for the Women". The event in Cameroon was characterised by colourful match past in major cities of the country by women clad in their Women's Day outfits and merry making.
