1. The Nico Halle & Co. Law Firm has once more been honoured. On the invitation of the Chairman of the African Union, our Senior Managing Partner Barrister Nico Halle was part of the African Union Observer Mission that monitored the Second Round Presidential Elections in Zimbabwe that took place on June 27, 2008. This invitation was no doubt in recognition of Mr. Halle's track record over the years as a Seasoned Elections Monitoring Expert. It should be recalled that Barrister Nico Halle is a pioneer member of the defunct National Elections Observatory of Cameroon (ONEL). ONEL officially handed over to the new Structure put in place by the Head of State to supervise elections in Cameroon - Elections Cameroon (ELECAM) on January 29, 2009.

2. Our Senior Managing Partner took part at the International Intellectual Property Conference that held at Dakar - Senegal from November 04 - 06, 2008. The main focus at this Conference was on the key role played by Intellectual Property on the Socio-Economic Development of OAPI Member States in particular and Africa in general. At the end of this International Conference which was the first of its kind organised by OAPI, participants came up with the DAKAR DECLARATION, which if implemented shall go a long way to enable OAPI Member States and other African countries feel the impact of Intellectual Property on their Socio-Economic Development.

3. The Nico Halle & Co. Law Firm took active part at the inaugurations of the Henry Jackson Foundation sponsored Medical Laboratories that took place in Yaounde and the University of Buea on November 10, and November 12, 2009 respectively.

4. The Association of Accredited Agents of the African Intellectual Property Organisation, known by its French Acronym - AMOAPI held a three days workshop in Douala from November 30 to December 02, 2009 which was focused on: The Fight against Counterfeiting. Our Senior Managing Partner, Mr. Nico Halle, gave a talk on: The Role of the Accredited I.P. Attorney in the Fight Against Counterfeiting.

* April 07, 2010: Our Senior Managing Partner Barrister Nico Halle clocks twenty-four (24) years of Legal Practice. We heartily congratulate him on this milestone achievement and pray that God Almighty should continuously empower him with the wisdom and necessary resources to enable him continue to successfully pilot the affairs of the Nico Halle & Co. Law Firm for more groundbreaking achievements.

* May 22 - 26, 2010: International Trademark Association's (INTA's) 132nd Annual Meeting at Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The Nico Halle & Co. Law Firm shall as usual be present at this upcoming important rendez-vous, which is the largest and most prestigious meeting of the International Trademark Community, with more than 7,000 participants from over 130 countries taking advantage of five days of educational programs, committee meetings, exhibits, social events and networking opportunities.
