Vanessa Halle is a Cameroon-based Barrister, exercising her practice at the Nico Halle & Co. Law Firm in Douala – Cameroon.
She obtained her LLB at the University of Essex in England, completed her PgDip in Bar Professional Studies and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in November 2011. Vanessa was also called as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Cameroon in April of 2013.
Vanessa is an accredited IP Attorney at the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI), and has extensive experience advising clients on strategic areas such as the protection / registration, maintenance and acquisition of Intellectual Property, licensing, infringement seizures, investigations, and pre-litigation considerations in the OAPI jurisdiction. Vanessa works closely with leading IP professionals around the world and has expertise in the coordination of international and parallel IP proceedings.
